Did you ever put a tape to it?  It looks like a really solid buck, would be great to find the second side.  Love the deep forks and mass.

No, I’ve never scored an antler before, but i might watch a video or two and learn how. At least I can get a rough idea.  I feel like the pics don’t do it much justice. It’s super massy and super dense. It’s a heavy sucker. I might have to go out and look for matches. I didn’t find a single match. Lol. I was feeling super lucky to find this one.

Okay, so I watched a YouTube video on how to score a mule deer antler. What I came up with was a score of 72 3/4. I’m sure I’m off one way or another by an inch or two, but rough score. Amazed me, I thought for sure it would be a higher number.

Times it by 2 and add a spread it would be 170”ish. Solid find

Ahhhhhh... gotcha! Wasn’t sure how that worked. Well, either way it’s a stud! Lol.

Nice!  How many hours did you spend trying to match it up!

That's about what I would have put it at, its a dandy, too bad you couldn't find the other side, it'd be a sweet set.

I’d have put it at about 65 just glancing.  I bet your score is pretty good.   Nice find.

Not as many as I’d have liked. It was at the end of the day, and I had to get going home so the wife didn’t get worried. I’m definitely heading back for round two though.
