It’s the first week of January and the current application approvals have been taking 8.5 months. If you been on the fence about hunting suppressed in the fall of 2023, it’s time to get off to one side if you want a chance at getting it for modern seasons.

I certified on 12/27/22, hoping to be hunting suppressed by September

It will be a bummer to have to spend a day in the mountains during bear season adjusting for any POI shifts but worth it for the rest of the season.

That’s great and I hope it’s even shorter for you.

Form 1's have some awesome advantages, and with subscription memberships with guys like Joey Longo you can build some awesome stuff. That being said they aren't for everyone and when I go another Form 4 route I will be taking my business to Dreadi, he's been an awesome resource for this board.

Dreadi- have you ordered/received anything from Diligent Defense out of PA? Old Form 1 supplier that converted to Form 4 who I'm looking at, thanks!

I had not heard of them until now and it looks like they have some competitive offerings.  Looking at the Enticer L-Ti page which includes results from Pew Science, I'd be interested if I was in the buying mood. Adding that they machined the front and back ends to accept other mfgs mounts and accessories, it seems they made a smart business decision. And of course, the warranty looks good.

Warranty:  :beatdeadhorse: I know, I know. I'm just talking from my personal experience of putting a few rounds of 45 ACP through the baffles of the first suppressor I took ownership of. Yes, I destroyed all the baffles in the front end and end cap of a Rugged Obsidian 45 because it got loose on the barrel and was no longer concentric.  Rugged replaced the parts and shipped it back at no cost to me.

Is that something that could be purchased through your business?

Possibly. I just sent in a dealer request form and will see what terms they have. At the minimum, I can facilitate the transfer if you ordered it direct from them.

@Dreadi what are you hearing about suppressors and HB 1240? I'm seeing a lot of conflicting opinions about them related to this bill. The way I read it, you could still buy suppressors but not threaded rifle barrels for semi-auto firearms.

I certified on 12/27/22 for my Nomad Ti, so just a tad concerned.
