sherman 101 spring bear
« on: May 04, 2021, 11:46:49 AM »
My son and I both drew 101 sherman spring permits. I'm mostly familiar with the northeast part of sherman unit and was there last weekend but there's still lots of snow. anyone have any advice on a area to look at further south?

There are bear throughout the unit but you were a little early, we have been out hunting every day in WA and in Idaho, in most mountain areas bear have only just started moving around within the last week. Before that we have not seen any sign. Last night it froze in the northeast, frosty nights hold back the bear activity. In another week or two there will be good activity.
