Chelan kokes
« on: April 22, 2021, 09:55:10 AM »
We're taking a group of scouts on a camping/fishing outing and was hoping someone might have some tips they would be willing to share to make sure we get the kids on the fish.

We're set up for fishing with rods, downriggers and gear.  I have micro shrimp and spinners in pink, orange, green, dodgers and of course corn and scent.

It looks like we can troll right outside the state park where we are camping as well as red-blue roof troll and Manson bay.

Sounds like they should be in 30-50'.  Is it worth a surface long line early in the morning or just go straight to downriggers?

I can't find anything online that has current surface temps, does anyone know what the current lake temp is?

Any other tips or tricks are appreciated!
