why pay $6.99 a lb

for chicken breast lunch meat when you can pay $1.99.lb for breasts and make your own? time to slice, vacuum pack and freeze  :tup: and yes i love the dollar store 2 for 1 tin pans, keeps the smoker clean no grease fires  :chuckle:

I agree.  I only buy lunch meat at Winco.  Places like Fred Meyer, Hagen etc. are ridiculously overpriced.  I can buy steak cheaper most of the time.  Making your own is best.

 :tup: I dont care for most poultry lunch meat so I do this also from time to time usually just bake chicken breast though .Or buy cheap turkey around the holidays and throw a couple in the freezer and then smoke one have a meal and turn the rest into lunch meat and or secondary meals
Another good one is find cheap breast or bonless skinless thighs and can them . Awesome chicken salad or quick dinner fixins .

ya doing this was still 1/3 the cost of winco generic brand lunchmeat  :IBCOOL:
