Not a birthing.  A fawn at birth would be much smaller and the hair color is wrong.  Probably that deer was born that way due to incomplete development of identical twins (the 2 were "fused" together in a way).

The deer was going to be an idetical twin.  The egg didn't split all the way.  Hence the extra legs.
