Vintage? Broadhead
« on: April 26, 2021, 07:57:43 PM »
Ok first off has been 35+ years since I bow hunted and have decided to get back into it for several reasons and with the exception of using the old Martin cougar II BOW and Easton  XX75 2217 arrows am trying to recycle all my other supplies and accessories.(yes I am a cheap skate) But can not remember what these broadheads are so could possibly get new blades. Wondering if any of the long time bow hunters on here might have the ability to ID this broadhead. I do know they were purchased back in the mid 80's

That is a Savora broadhead. Those are still very good heads and they will work just fine.

Yep, a Savora. I shot those same heads with vented blades in the early 90's.

Very reminiscent of the Ti Con we are still shooting today!
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Savora Swept-Wing 125 4 blade with carbon blades.  If purchased in the 80's those were  probably blades made by American Safety Razor.  They were good ones!!  The blades MLBowhunting is sending you will work fine.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Hey, don't be ashamed to use the bow, arrows, and equipment.
It worked back then and it will still get the job done today.
