Decided to give Turkey hunting a try for the 1st time
« on: April 29, 2021, 08:55:31 AM »
I never had much intrest of turkey hunting being a wetside blacktail and roosie junkie . But a buddy of mine convinced me to give it a shot. And we'll after a great 1st trip over east chasing gobbling birds , we'll I think I caught the bug for sure . Was able to harvest 2 nice Tom's on my 1st trip and sure was alot more exciting than I ever imagined.  Both birds were taken using a combo of calling and spot and stalk.

Don't stop now, you can get one more on the west side!
There are only so many sunrises left.
