I like them, haven't owned one in awhile. The biggest issue is the trigger. They have to set it so far forward and use such a long rod is screws up the original trigger. Not that it is such a big deal on the Marlin 60's. But on the 10/22's where they triggers are more often fixed to be good, kinda ruins them.

Never, ever let Creed hold you baby, it will ruin it and you will have to get another.

The Muzzlite, pictured, is made for that exact reason, fun. You can tweak the triggers, but the complete housing is plastic, not polymer, and can twist.

There are many designs that can give a "tactical" look and feel, Archangle, Christies, Nordic, and a complete redesign that uses a proprietary action but takes 10/22 parts, http://zimmermanarms.com/Receivers/.

Even my favorite, the 10/22 "Fun Gun"   http://www.1022fungun.com/store/pc/home.asp

As far as I know, only one company makes the bullpup for the Marlin 60. Which is a shame as it is such a popular rifle for a reason.

In case you haven't figured it out. I really like rimfires. It almost worries me that I can completely disassemble and reassemble a 10/22 trigger group in about 5 minutes. Give me another 10 and I can drop the trigger pull to about 3 pounds safely.

It's a toy. I had one on a mini 14. Had to modify it to eject cleanly. It would bounce brass back in, and the the bolt would throw it forward into the action. Jam it permanently. Had to take the whole thing apart to get the brass out! Muzzle was a deafening 12" or less from your weak hand ear. Trigger was horrible. Mean lookin' but I'd rather shoot a pistol in tight quarters, frankly. Worthless toy.

Some of the problem is the very long trigger linkage, the mechinism is mounted in the same place  which requires a long rod to transfer from the trigger location to the actual trigger.

by tightening up the linkage area so very little slop is left. Doing the same to the trigger on the bullpup also helps. I saw a write up where a person went all out and built his own custom linkage and trigger, connected everything with set screws. Very nice job.

I think im going to do it to a model 70 that i have lying around....its all in pieces and missing a stock and magazine, but a magazine is 15 bucks and the bullpup stock is 115 bucks....so i figure worth it seeing i got the model 70 practically for free....
