End of Global Warming? (for awhile)
« on: April 24, 2009, 02:03:37 PM »
Reading through some articles on the cyles of the sun, it appears that we are in a cooling phase.  It seems as though the suns activity is at a 55 years low.  That means less solar radiation being spewed into space.  I wonder if we are going to see a few more colder and longer winters?  What are your thoughts on the subject of global warming?  I know that we need to curb our pollution for sure, but are we going to melt if we don't run out and buy the electric 4x4 or the hydrogen powered rock crawler with a 6' inch lift and 37" swampers for our next hunting trip to the Vail tree farm?    :tree1: :sas:

NO!!  Critical thinking and research be damned!  The science is SETTLED!!  NO ARGUMENTS!!!  The future of what's left of Al Gore's political career is depending on this!!!  We all need to be walking to work on hypogenic hemp sandals, otherwise the next generation of children will be born with gills!!

Yes, and prior to the cooling phase of the sun, was a long proven warming phase.  Global warming and climate change has more to do with the sun than it does to do with man by significant proportions.

That's what always cracked me up with the global warming religon.  Complete disregard about the main source of heat for the earth and look at you with a straight face and say the sun has no effect on global warming, what so ever.  It has to be man made!!   :chuckle:

Its been warmer...it will be cooler....We arrogant humans have VERY VERY little to do with either.

Vikings lived in Greenland and grew wheat....not so much now.

Whatta ya mean I can't have one of each?

What we have here is...Washington Department of NO Fish and WATCHABLE Wildlife.

WDFW is going farther and farther backwards....we need FISH AND GAME back!

I agree with being responsible and trying not to pollute as much as we can.  We dont want our skies to look like L.A.  But "man made global warming" is man made bad science.

I cant wait for longer colder winters.  Makes thing feel cleaner.  IMHO
