WDFW needs people to buy 2021 clam licenses now.  Guaranteed for a minimum  maximum of one dig at this time..  No refundo.  .

fixed it.

Would love to go but I can't even begin to imagine how jacked up up it will be with just the one beach open.  Pass.

Wow, Saturday opener on one beach only.  Good news is the pandemic is apparently over.

With very little notice I'm sure the beach won't be as crowded as if they announced this a week ahead of time. I wish I could go....
... also, your clam license bought now would be good till March 31st 2022, so you likely will get all fall and winter on it.

Just bought my fishing license yesterday so I don't even need a clam license. The wife and I and a friend of hers will be heading down there Saturday. Wife and I will likely hit it again on Monday. Last time we went was in September.

What differences have you noticed in clam quality in may vs. in march/april? I can't recall ever digging past April. Considering trying on monday. Thanks

Can be milky and softer.
Once temps get into the 60-70s I avoid them..but that's my personal preference.

We're on the fence, baseball game on Saturday but maybe Monday.  It will be a circus for sure, but good fun will be had by many.

We'll be out Monday I hope.  If they taste like crap, they'll go in the crab pots this summer.
