Anybody with reports yet?  Interested to know what the traffic and crowds were like and how the clamming went.

Dug at Roosevelt. Easy limits and tons of people. Nice size clams. Traffic was a easy in and out.

Ton of people but clams were easy to come by. We grabbed our limits pretty quickly.

Took us about an hour and a half for three limits. One inexperienced digger or it would have gone a little quicker. Definitely wasn't as good as last September.

There were lots of people, but their is a lot of space!
Didn't seem busier than any other dig, probably due to short notice.
Dug a couple limits in about 1 hour. Quality of the clams were great.
I bet they taste the same as October clams.
If you got Monday off, go for it. It's a good time.

Did any of you go farther north to the other approaches than Roosevelt?  Just curious.

No, I wanted to, but the wife wanted to go where we always do. I thought there might be less people further north.

Tried to get a spot for my travel trailer yesterday but they're all booked up. Forgot about it being a holiday weekend! Going to Ocean Park and fish for some surf perch.

Figured I’d bump this since digs are just about every weekend now.  The wife and I went out this past weekend, hate the night digs but we did good, weather was interesting sat night but pretty Good Friday.  Does anyone else feel a little sea sick after digging clams?? It sounds odd but I think it’s from watching the waves intently?
“In common with”..... not so much!!
