2003 weldcraft renegade boat with jet. Rear seat ideas
« on: May 11, 2021, 09:50:16 PM »
I bought a 2003 18 foot weldcraft renegade with the inboard jet with 40 hours on it. Boat is solid asking to see what options u use for rebuilding or recovering the rear bench seats that cover the storage compartments.  I am not to sure I need the back pads. I sent them out to be recovered since the guy let the boat sit our uncovered so they were pretty bad.

Here is my dilemma paid the cash for materials and sent the bottoms to be recovered a month ago and still don't have them back and leave on Thursday for walley.

Any thoughts or what have u came up with for a quick solid pad with some cushion? I'm in a pinch so doesn't have to be fancy just get me through next week with a dry arce. Thanks for any ideas you may have.

Cover it in plywood and sit on the throwable.

Thanks for the reply, that was the plan as a last ditch effort.

There are also seat cushions for coolers you could buy if you want something a bit more Gucci.  I bought one for a igloo marine cooler and it held up well for years.
