MeatEater Hunts S2E2
« on: May 18, 2021, 06:58:46 PM »
I was able to join Janis Putelis on an archery elk hunt in the mountains of Colorado. Janis is trying to kill his first archery bull. He has called plenty in for past clients as a guide but not one for himself.

Really enjoyed both episodes.  People always assume just because it's private land, that it is a better hunt.  Not always the case.
God made man, Samuel Colt made them equal.

The ranch didn’t hardly have an elk on it. We had to climb 2500 feet up on public land to find the elk which I prefer over the ranch hunting.

Watched both episodes as soon as they came out.  Great stuff.

It's been a lot of fun to watch you and your business grow from the sidelines.  Thanks for still posting on Hunt-WA and keeping us updated Jason.

I noticed you had a holster on your pack for your sidearm.......but no sidearm. Do you normally carry while hunting or didn't feel like carrying for this hunt?
