New Pier

The new Mukilteo fishing pier is finally open for business.  They re-used some of the wood from the old pier.  Kind of a cool touch.

Getting pretty swanky down there.

I got all confused rounding the corner on my way to Possession from Everett, the ferry was all in the wrong place, new buildings and I had to actually pay attention rather than half doze off out and go on autopilot for a half hour.

Wonder if squid get that far up the sound?

I’d imagine squid would be around there, but the dawn to dusk hours will make it tough.

 That used to be a great pier to catch crab from 30 years ago. I wonder what it’s like these days.
