I think they hired wdfw to run their draw
meh...I wish they would...probably would have had them no later than last monday.

:yeah: beat me to it. I wish all western states could turn and burn like WA does.

It’s extraordinarily dumb. Radio silence would be better. Silly.
Just tend your own and live.

I bet they will still post the same message on whatever day they end up posting the results.

I'd agree 100% with that. Im sure its due to the excessively high volume of inquiries as to why they aren't out yet.

Didnt the super hunt results come out several days after the date they had set as the "no later than" date? Wouldn't be surprised if we don't see these results until July 15th 🤷🏼‍♂️

That would even make Oregon's draw schedule look good :chuckle:

Probably...it would honestly be nice for all these states to establish a release date/time that is as soon as possible and is very reliable.  Vacation planning, reservations, a lot of logistical issues are confounded when its anybody's guess.  I get that 30 or 40 years ago when people basically applied near their home units there was no issue...but in todays world...a lot of these states need to step things up.

especially considering the amount of money it costs to apply. I don't mind paying but id like something for my money. At the end of the day we are a paying customer that funds the majority of these states annual budget.  Its not too much to ask that we can at least get a little better quality service for our money.

Just talked to licensing dept. because I had a tag question...asked them about draw, once I got past the canned response the guy indicated it may still be a while...as in closer to Jul 10.  He said the sheep debacle definitely is playing into this, as the contractor is being very careful about all their software and making sure there are no issues that cause an improper tag award and being later than normal is just fine with IDFG as long as they get it right.  He said they are in the verification process now and to keep watching the website, so who knows...my money is moving towards Friday results...just seems like they would want them out before the holiday weekend.  :dunno:

So they probably did the draw last Friday and have been verifying all day yesterday and today. End of this week would be nice.
