270 win What's Your load Data

So been thinking about going back to my roots.
Rem 700 ,270 win average rifle. Always have shot factory ammo out of it. Have had the rifle for years.
So it was made before all that quality control junk with remington.
Ok what I got and it isn't much.

Hornady interlock 130gr SP. Flat base bullets
Winchester brass
H4831
Hybrid v100
CCI 200 primers

Even if your load doesn't have the same components,
I would love to hear what has worked for you guys over the years.

I'm gonna load up 10 or 20 rounds then wait for rain to sight in and target shoot. If that happens before deer season.
Was thinking of going with 58 gr 4831 right down the middle between max and min charge just to start out ,see how it shoots ,not to worried about high velocity with a traditional cup and core bullet.

Here is the load I've been using for many years:

Nosler Partition 150 gr. bullet
FC brass
IMR 4350 powder; 53 gr.
CCI 200 primers

I have experimented with different bullets, as well as different powder charges.
I tried IMR 4064 powder.  I was using it in reduced loads for my young son's .270, but
  it didn't group that well in my Winchester Model 70 Featherweight, so I went back to IMR 4350.
This one just shoots the best groups.

If you are need of some once-fired .270 Winchester brass let me know.

With old powder we used 58.5 grains but the primers would flatten. 58 grains helped that.

I’ve got a 24” barreled m70 classic.  Haven’t really found any bullet that shoots poorly out of it, but have had excellent accuracy with 130gr speer hot cors, with ramshot hunter and rl26.

I picked up some Barnes 110gr ttsx bullets and loaded them close to 3500fps with hunter (straight out of their load manual). That’s a load on par with a lot of .257 weatherly loads in terms of ballistics. I tried to replicate it with rl16, and got even better accuracy but I couldn’t quite get the velocity that hunter did(super compressed load).

I worked up to max .270 win load data in the Nosler manual using RL19 and 140 Accubond. Lots of elk & deer dinners provided by this load...

My standard load for over 20 years was 58.0 grains of H4831 with whatever 150 grain bullet I was using at the time. Velocity with that load was around 2,850 fps. Recently I started using RL26, 61.5 grains (IIRC) and a 140 grain bullet for a velocity of around 3,150 fps.

I'm hoping to see 2900 range with the 130 and 58 gr ,22 in barrel I guess we will see .

How was accuracy using 58gr h4831?

3/4" groups at 100 yards, sometimes better, with Nosler Ballistic Tips. This was with a Browning A bolt with a 22" barrel.

You really can't beat H4831 in the 270 Winchester. Unless you want more velocity, then you can try RL26.

I'm not a reloading guy, but a co-worker helped me work up this load for my Tikka T3 superlite  .270 a couple years ago.

Barnes 130 grain TTSX, 52 grains of Hybrid 100v
Chronos at 2,940 fps and groups are 1" @ 100 yds.

I suspect we could have found another consistent node by laddering further up with more powder, but the guy is a very cautious reloader and I have no interest shooting or hunting at long ranges.

This has been very effective for bear hunting and I'm glad to have done this before the ammo shortage and price gouging
