I thought this was about the tides..
Pretty lousy clamming on + tides...
Really better when they are - tides..
But with the last year being mostly closed, probably going to do alright anyways..

Most of them are minus tides, a few in the +0.1 to 0.6' range.  Plenty of space on the beach, I usually show up early or late and don't even dig at the waterline.

I never bother to clam at waterline anymore. I go up the beach in the drier sand and collect the easy picking clams between the other holes.

I didn't read up on it, but my wife said they upped the limit to 20... don't know if this is correct. I have to keep an eye on her so she doesn't dig too many as it is.

I seem to get bigger clams the further out I go. So I'm usually in the water.

When I used to live in Warrenton, Oregon some of my favorite tides to dig were One to 2 ft holdups. I'd have the whole beach to myself and get nice clams.  Definitely had to have digging in the water skills though.

Can anyone tell me the boundary line at twin harbor? I know it goes from the Willipa bay north but is the cut off line at the jetty into grays harbor or at twin harbor state park? I’ve found different info on the internet but would like to find out a more definitive answer. Thanks! Just trying to see if I can walk to the beach from the light house or if I need to drive a little bit.

It says look for signs, maybe they provide a third opinion?  Not sure which one a guy should follow though.   :dunno:
