I was going to hit the Snoho when they start coming in...my boat isn't sound worthy. You will get about a 90 percent answer of "their not bad smoked." I can tell you they are not good either. We save pinks for crab bait. I would rather eat a stocker trout over a pink. I am a salmon snob though. But they are fun for the kids to catch.

I tend to agree that pinks are sub-par. They are edible, but they certainly aren't anywhere close to as good as some other salmon.
They ain't fresh springer or fat-dripping ocean king or prime fresh coho, but they are salmon and still really good when fresh and cared for properly. And most importantly, when in Rome...
I know nothing about pinks. Do they travel along shorelines, or are beach anglers just fishing at pinch points, or ??
