"Deception Pass"
:chuckle:

Looks like a packed beach on tonight’s incoming tide.

Nice

I think I'm gonna cast off the beach at tomorrow morning's high tide.

Family had a great day on the beach today. Sand, toys, we took home 3.

Skagit was tough as predicted. Couldn't see my jig half an inch below the surface. Only saw a couple guys get hits on bottom rigs but no fish landed. Wonder if it's gonna clear up any time soon...

I couldn't believe how murky the Skagit was when I drove over it yesterday.  Stilly was normal but I don't remember seeing the Skagit that bad.

Caught a ton of pinks in area 5 this weekend so there are more in route.

Three limits in Humpy Hollow today, lots jumping, and marking on depth finder. Released one decent native Coho that was gut hooked. Fished past the cabins on the mainland south of Muk (two retaining walls with graffiti was the hot spot), and trolled almost to Shipwreck and back. Put in about 7am in Everett and barely made it out, had to chop some mud to get away from dock, was done by 11 am. Unfortunately each day has cost me more than the next, but that is what it takes to own a boat hahaha.

Had 1 in the boat this morning before the second line was wet!  2 more in the next 10 minutes before a catastrophic downrigger failure.  Had to fish with only 1 and picked up the 4th in another 1/2 hour.  Only problem was that we had a little over an hour soak on our crab pots and only got 6.  We were in the same place RB.  Started at the cabins trolling south and never even got close to the shipwreck.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I'd say the peak is right now, in area 8-2.  Pinks everywhere, right off the Muk boat launch, jumpers from there to the shipwreck and beyond.

Anyone want to sign my petition to dam the Sauk River? Cooler temps are improving things a bit. Friends are getting limits now. I need to find some time...

Skagit was noticeably better yesterday, should be decent fishing.

I'm shooting at hitting Muk tomorrow for some crab and pinks, just cleaned out the freezer yesterday and ready to go for the big push of pinks and coho.
