2021 Entiat Archery Deer Permit
« on: June 10, 2021, 12:45:45 PM »
After having the hunter education incentive tag last year in the entiat I decided to put in as a team with my 19 year old daughter for late season entiat archery and we drew.

She is in college, has a boyfriend and I am just not sure how many more hunts we will be able to do together.  Really looking forward to this hunt.

Looking forward to a great hunt.  No matter what she is shooting first until she tags out.  I will eat my tag if it means she gets more opportunities.  It's all about the kids.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Last year during rifle season there were two really nice bucks that I could have taken with a bow.  I hope we have a couple of opportunities like that again this year during the archery season.  This is going to be epic.

Yaaassss!!

15 points.  I think I had 18 and she had 12.

Thanks everyone!

Hopefully I get to update this thread with a great photo at the end.

I will definitely tell you how it goes.  Hunting there last year should really help our odds.  I saw a ton of ground and passed a ton of deer with the rifle. She won't be so picky and shouldn't be with a bow at 19.

Make sure you have chains and a tow strap. my buddy drew this tag a few years ago, and the first few days were warm and then the snow hit and it was pretty sketchy driving around. We had to run into town to get chains.  Good luck on the hunt and enjoy it.
