2021 Quality Entiat rifle tag
« on: June 13, 2021, 08:15:28 AM »
I am feeling super blessed to have drawn Entiat late rifle tag. I will be making a few trips to familiarize myself with the roads/trails. Any advice folks have would be greatly appreciated.

Best advice for the tag is learn the road system  before hand as you mentioned and cover as much country as you can every day using your legs, vehicle and glass. Don’t be discouraged scouting the lower country in early fall and summer. Your hunt will get better each day of the season.

Don’t shoot the first, second or third buck you see. Enjoy it. Look at lots of deer. Have a buddy hold your bullets. If @opdinkslayer calls you and has his rifle setup on a deer make sure you click the safety off and then pull the trigger.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.

I might have to take a trip over just to be an extra set of eyes since I have 0 tags anywhere this year. Knowing my luck I’d lay eyes on a 200” deer 1 year too late :chuckle:
