Private land.  Gated, locked, and posted.  Will look tomorrow to see how many of my Cascara trees are gonna die.

Stealing and trespassing, I hope he gets into a crappy situation with your bark. Know of anybody buying raw or bulk bark, might want to share photo.

I’m not sure where they sell cascara bark down that way,  google says there’s a outfit in Monte that buys it .   Peeled it when I was a kid.  Tough way to make a buck

Will be contacting LEO after I assess the damage.  He ran back in for his bike.

Yeah he definitely saw your camera.  I would be changing it's location if I were you.   That definitely sucks, good luck catching him.

Yeah he definitely saw your camera.  I would be changing it's location if I were you.   That definitely sucks, good luck catching him.   

The camera was shooting videos.  I made some still shots of the moments he was looking in that direction.  He really appeared to be searching for cameras and not seeing this one.  My other camera is missing, but was pretty much a dummy cam as it didn't really work.

He looks a bit like Les Stroud.
cascara bark has medicinal properties.  It was popular before things like ex-lax.  You can find it on Ebay, craigslist and hippy stores.
