First year in kapowsin/Hancock.   I hunted all weekend in the kapowsin side.  I heard 3 shots all weekend and didn’t see a single deer.  Tons of bear sign and I saw my fair share of old bones.  I think the predators are doing a number in there.  Which brings me to my next point.

Anyone interested in predator/bear hunting between now and late buck and then this winter?   I have a nice E call and decoys but kinda lack in the experience side but YouTube helps a bit there.   Also have well outfitted 4 door rubicon so when snow comes can get around fairly easily.

It will be closed after the sixth. This winter I’m down for sure to go up. Two cougar sightings on the bridge gate side in the same area in the last week and tons of fresh sign. Same spot I saw one two years ago. It was fox red color in February pretty color

Guy killed a cougar right where I ride my bike in to deer hunt Saturday. Ran into another younger kid and his brother who killed one in September, they never found it but it was mortal wound. Add that to all the sightings I’m hearing running into people. Cat infested. At least deep back in the 7 series. I saw a doe and a fawn, hunted 2 solid days all day.

Has anyone been out to the snoqualime property, or seen any bucks come off the property? I know Campbell manages it now instead of HFM. Ive hunted the kapowsin property for a few years, only been able to kill a bear and some grouse looking to relocate. Any advice/intel would be greatly appreciated.
