Do you know what this Mushroom is?

I was over in Idaho last week and at our campsite there was this mushroom.  I have never seen one like it, I  mean the black gills.
Does anyone know what it is and is it safe to eat?
I didn't take it, I figure if I don't know it can stay right there.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Don't know what species exactly but The black gills means its Old/overripe.
