AZ Fall Deer Hunt Results

I'm assuming if my CC'd got hit yesterday that means I just drew a deer tag for AZ this fall?  :yike:

I had no points going into this draw and really wasn't expecting such if this is real. Checked my AZGFD account but it stills says pending...

Here is to a possible Coues Deer in AZ!

Yes, that’s the deal. Did you put in for hunts that are difficult to draw?

Based on Toprut draw info from '20

1st Choice = 36% with zero points (24% hunter success)
2nd Choice = **New Tag
3rd Choice = 3% with zero points (100% hunter success)
4th Choice = 9% with zero points (47% hunter success) - 100% draw @ 5pts

Looking back probably should have flipped my choices in order of 3rd, 4th, 1st, 2nd.... live and you learn and still waiting to see what I pulled actually.

Arizona effectively only looks at your top 2 choices, so I generally put in for a pipe dream hunt as #1 in case my number gets pulled early, and then the easier to draw hunt for #2.  Could be that you drew #1 or #2, but not your third and fourth choices.  Your hunt will be fun regardless!   :tup:
