Lick Creek permit holders

You might want to start thinking about the option to turn your tags in. That whole unit might be charcoal here in the next few days.

Air support was doing pretty good but the large tankers got pulled to fight the fires in proximity to houses.

In Whitman County, we are in the smoke plume off and on.  Was working up near Steptoe Butte Friday, and could see a pyrocumulus (tall fire-driven cumulus cloud) from the Dry Gulch/Lick Creek fires.   Not good, not good at all.

I wonder how many calls WDFW will have to make to find someone to take the ones turned in..

I would be surprised if they even tried.  The won't get any extra revenue and someone would take the tag without knowing and then they would have to deal with the complaints.  Much easier to just throw the permits in the garbage.

That was an excellent presentation.

Sounds like holding the line at FR40 should be doable, especially with west winds predicted for tomorrow I believe. However, I hope that doesnt drive it on the east flank.
