Please don't be sorry, It's part of life. Grizz lived a long and happy life, was loved and well cared for. Always happy. I could tell you the story of how he came into our lives, and into our yard where he belonged as a pup ( literally dug himself in, over and over....). How the original owners would leave for a couple weeks and left him in a pen. How my wife would go get him and leave a note that he was at LEXI'S ( my girl ) I literally had to teach him to swim like my dad taught me, carried him out waist deep and tossed him in and swim him around. At first he didn't like to get his feet wet, turned out to be the fastest and most aggressive swimmer I ever had. The original owners moved and after a couple months of him trying to break out they came to me and asked if I wanted him. Wife said lets go get him, He loved my wife and pounced on her when they opened the door.
Grizz was a story of love from start to finish, first started with my girl lexi as pups, ended up as a whole family.
I am a bit sad but was prepared for this, I am happy he is out of pain, happy I was there, and happy it went quickly
Grizz was a great pup, I will miss him.
Thanks all.
