Trying to add another state to my list of states I've hunted elk in and have hunted the blue mountains in Washington a lot so figured it would be an easy transition to the southern tip of these mountains.
Going to be hunting Archery from the 15th to 25th of September
Spent the last few days scouting around John Day in units 46 and 47 and was wondering if anyone else has experience in this area and would lend some advice. Don't need your spots but just wondering how your hunt experience was, from hunting pressure or weather and what worked for ya.
