Another vote for 4  by 5 we have never counted eyegaurds on mule deer. But definitely count them on whitetail.

I call him a 4x5 with eye guards. I also call that a great high hunt buck! Well done!

I'd tell my buddies I got a 4x5 with a couple small kickers at the base. Either way its a nice buck :tup:

Thanks for the responses!  My gut instinct is to call it a 4x5 with eye guards, which seems in line with the majority opinion on the matter.  Very interesting to know that B&C would call it a 5x6 though. 

Here's the buck on the ground.  He was an old fella, but a healthy one.  Despite having a fairly big body overall and plenty of fat, it was neat to see how much bigger and stronger his 2x2 buddy looked standing next to him.

Boy, what a beautiful 5x6.  :tup:  :peep:
