We just received a call from Olympia and my cousin was able to buy the MS deer tag over the phone. He had ticket # 201725. The lady said that there is less than 500 tags left.

I was also assigned a ticket # after I called and complained about the debacle the day the MS tags were offered. I received a call about an hour ago and was able to purchase the MS deer tag.

Be curious to find out how many actually end up getting sold and if they stick to the quota. Wouldn't surprise me if they just sold extra to make some additional money for some pet project

I'm on the phone right now and they are going to sell me a tag. Get after it while they are still there. Best of luck to all of you

I guess at least they’re still selling the tags?

Got the tag. From what I gathered, they will hear you out about your experience and make a decision as to whether your story is worthy of selling you a tag. I talked with two customer service people, and then the guy who sold me the tag. He said the point was for the dept. to feel comfortable that you were ready and able to purchase on the 18th but that the system crash caused you to lose the tag.

With the first customer service person, I could tell she wanted more information so I talked about being at BiMart at 10 with only two people in front of me and then waiting almost three hours getting continually kicked out of the system. Then I talked about what happened on the computer after that. They said I qualified and it was done.

Sounds like a fair and diplomatic system for tag allocation. A panel of wdfw employees deems whether your story is up to par or not and makes the decision on the spot. Jeesh...  :bash:

There was some of this last year too. I called and cried my heart out to them about all the problems I had attempting to purchase a MS tag. I didn’t meet the cut and was told they had sold our  :bash:
If you get a no I recommend calling and trying with a different representative.
I wish I would have done that last year  :dunno:
Good luck to all of you trying.

Seriously. I was about to tell her to call the young manager at BiMart to confirm. What's really odd is that they put out a bulletin saying they were sold out when in fact they were not.

Or they are just selling extra to pad the wolf budget
