Tcam attack pic? Coyote or cougar?
« on: July 27, 2021, 09:10:26 PM »
received this image tonight from my cell camera, sorry for low quality, I don't get HD images with my subscription.  What do you think?  Coyote, cougar, or weird double image?  The "predator" head appears to be floating or concealed by the tall grass possibly?

ok, I was thinking coyote as well.  But the body in the picture doesn't look like the coyotes, i'm thinking thats an entire deer with the coyote behind it biting the neck?

Looks like a deer body, coyote coming from the side so you can’t see the body of the coyote just the deer, and has the deer by the neck.

To me it looks like a deer walking with a coyote hanging off its neck.

Body and front leg look like deer to me.

The more I look at it I think I too am seeing the coyote packing a deer head pretty clearly now.  Head looks to be cut off cleanly below the throat patch.  This is fairly close to a highway so probably a salvaged road kill or someone poached it.  There is a pretty light colored yote that cruises through here, I think he is the culprit carrying the deer head.

If you dont do it this year, you'll be one year older when you do!

my thoughts would be a poached deer head.  it's too intact to be chewed off of a dead deer.
