Hot weather
«
on:
August 06, 2021, 07:30:24 PM »
With the hot weather scheduled for the west side next week. Will the bears still be in the berry patches up high during the day with the weather so hot? Is it worth sitting on berry patches during the day?
Thanks everyone!

They don’t care
They care but they have to eat when the eating is good. Not storing enough fat for the winter means starvation.
In Alaska bears that didn't or couldn't get enough to eat in the warm months would come out of their dens and tear up traplines.
