I think one of the main things I see in coyote crap is blackberry seeds. And all kinds of various other fruit seeds. But at certain times of the year I'd bet blackberries make up at least 75% of their diet.

Great pics.

My dog used to sit all day watching the apple tree.  He would wait for an apple to fall and then run over there and eat it.  :chuckle:
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

My best coyote calling spots are right next to apple orchards, the ground gets coverd with apple scat so bad you have to look for a spot with out crap to sit down.
God is great, Beer is good, people are crazy.

Nice yote pics. That buck looks young. His face seems very narrow.

Judging by the pictures I would go with a yes on the apples. I would also put up a tree stand and nail that dog, he looks great.

Nice pictures.  Thanks for sharing.

Yes, they do eat apples.  Also they recognize a food source and are looking for anything else that might be there eating the apples.

There was a particular spot I coyote hunted this year and all the yote crap was bright orange. I finally figured it out. CARROTS, of all things those mangey suckers love carrots. I never would have thought.

So do Deer!!! They Luv carrots. I have had apples out and Coyotes walk by and don't eat them? I have had deer do the same thing. Last year a Doe and two fawns were eating around my apples but not the apples? But in that area there are no fruit trees and not much for berries either.
