Unburned islands within the burn and unburned areas adjacent to the burns under the canopy.

I found my most sheds in a single day when hunting whitetails in a burned area a few years back. Didn't fill my tag until I went to an unburnt area.

I'm interested in this topic. One of my areas just burned as well. I heard that deer like new burned areas. So, if there is habitat around the burn will they still be there? I need to make some quick decisions on whether to hunt archery or wait for a later season.
