Yes, I took a yellow male from the last litter.  He went for 4-4 in his first 4 junior hunt tests.  That litter had a different sire and those pups weren’t as hard charging bird dogs as some but their disposition is amazing, they love people and when birds are around they get very fired up and just get after it.  I am very happy with Charlie and think Steve does a fine job socializing the puppies.  Don’t know yet if we will run Senior Hunt Tests or not as we may just hunt.  Feel free to ask questions if you are interested in these pups!

Was great to watch Charlie and his young trainer! Wish I had more owners like them! (I love to see how well a couch dog is cared for... but something inside me says, "Get the pup out in the field!") Bella and the previous sire are both very different personalities home vs field, like flipping a switch, something I like about a working pet. Milo is higher energy, more intense when he sees you coming, wants to perform! He's young, and he responds very well to authority. (Something my son has a little trouble asserting... I don't!) He's a great pet, but favors the field. (You can see in the video, he loves to get air before he hits the water! That's him to a T! No wonder his Dad's side did field trials.)

I'm planning to let them go October 28th... unless a new owner has specific need to pick up early. Ten weeks is just the ideal time to send them into a new Pack and have them attach to an Alpha (YOU!) At least two are going later.

So the schedule works out to do a full 5 wormings, and all 3 'Spectra 9' Immunization shots. Did the second worming and first shot today.
