IDAHO second big game draw results.

The application period ended 8/15.  On 8/25 any unpurchased tags go on sale first come first serve.  They still haven't posted the results.  Is this typical?  If the results post on Monday (8/23) you get a day to buy the tag.  This seems a little poor for a game department.

Any tags that are not drawn In the 2nd draw go on sale on the 25th. I dont believe you have a deadline to buy the tag if you draw in the 2nd draw.

I believe this to be true as well with there being no deadline on the 2nd draw. I read somewhere it's they'd notify by the 22nd. I was surprised they didn't come out today.

The real question is why aren’t results available on the 16th, it’s a random draw with no eligibility questions, or limitations on nonresidents, they always say it’s the time to check eligibility on the 1st draws that keeps them from being able to turn them around as fast as they should. I swear IDFG just enjoys being inept at their jobs

Drew unit 18 archery elk!   24 years of applying in Idaho, and this is my first draw.  The curse is lifted!  Now I'm madly scrambling around trying to get left this weekend.
