Cougar kills sheep
« on: April 16, 2009, 11:53:03 AM »
I recieved an email today titled  Lake Roosevelt above Coulee - Cougar Hunt. The body stated this- Fishermen caught this  incredible sequence of photos of a cougar making a kill.
6 pm suppertime for the cougar his dinner guest(?) was a 4 year old Rocky Mountain Bighorn
Sheep. (a Ram) He never had a chance.

There were a few more other pictures but I think you get the jest of it.

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

I think those were actually taken in like Colorado i want to say, not WA.  Got them a while back in an e-mail.  But of course who's to say that the e-mail i got was legit.

The ram on the right in the first picture is saying, "Hey Fred, did you hear something...?"

I saw the report on the local news last year. That took place on a lake near Banff. What a sight!

I believe those pictures were taken in Alberta or B.C., but I can't remember what the email I received said.
