Interesting question, on a “non-EV” bike you control a wheelie with the throttle.

Can a electric or EV bike do the same, with throttle control?

I assume so, the throttle is just like a regular bike.  No clutch to "pop" though.

An EV would make a great farm motorcycle. You ride it for the day and then plug it in at night. Your never more then the width of your farm from the plug in. Put a nice rack on the back like the trail 110's, bam, your gettin' work done.  :tup:

They're pretty cheap. For my commute, it would take about 4 years savings on gas to pay for itself.

Yeah, it needs an endorsement.  Anything capable of 30mph or more is legally a motorcycle in WA and requires an endorsement.  Below 30 can be a moped, no endorsement needed but must be registered.  Below 28mph can be a bicycle, no license required.

Good to know. I never really paid attention as I have an endorsement.

For some reason, that was my first thought, add a gyro and with electronic throttle control all you need is a W button and anyone could roll like Evil.

I don’t think this qualifies for the WA state sale’s tax exemption but I sent in a claim anyway.  Worth a try for the price of a stamp.  I can’t find the definition of a “medium duty passenger vehicle”.

A heifer ran over me and broke my foot while I was using a motorcycle to herd them, so I caution to not use cowboy boots while chasing cows.....
