Well, for the first time in 14 years I struck out. But here is the group photo. We ended up with six bulls. They got one after I left so it's not pictured.

Was very happy to help out a buddy with an archery elk tag, he’s a disabled hunter so all legal. 60 yard shot and I got her at the top of the heart, died within a minute! Young cow should be great eating!!

Best eating you can get. Did that a number of years ago. Every meal was 5 star. Congrats

150 yard shot. Strong quartered away. Smoked it. Only made it a few yards due to tumbling down the steep hillside. Happened fast. And was happy to be able to be there when my brother filled his bull tag the next day. 2 elk in 2 days. And 3 for 4 on the seasons. With opportunity for the 4th tag holder. Couldn't be a better season. Freezers are full. And I am happy to have a healthy mature cow this season.
