My season lasted an hour lol.  257 WB did a solid job.  200 yard running shot.  Looked like a giant picked him up and threw him into the dirt

Nice work but a little bitter sweet.   I did the same thing a couple years ago.  Season only lasts an hour after waiting all year for it.

Passed on a spike at first light, couldn't pass this one up at last light. Shot it with my rifle, could have used my bow.

Little ground shrinkage on him but I’m happy. Was shooting backup for a buddy and just couldn’t let him get away. Ol buck fever will get ya  :chuckle:
Now I get to help others find bucks and have 0 stress. Going to continue being a great year!

Oh for sure haha, i was a little bummed it was over so quick, but i also have a second deer tag, and am trying to get my girl and dad a buck, so it was a bit of a relief so now i can focus on them

Opening morning success! A 350 yard cross-canyon heart shot and a 3-mile pack out off the mountain made this an unforgettable hunt.
