Heavy Pack Out
« on: September 01, 2021, 07:50:17 PM »
Not quite the pack out I was hoping for but if you or someone you might know happened to forget your items at one of my favorite wilderness areas please let me know so I can get them back to you. I’m sure there must have been an emergency that made you leave almost your entire camp. Really hoping it wasn’t a bum from the streets of Seattle just looking for a change of venue. I wasn’t able to pack it all out but did so happen to pick up your socks, paracord, bar soap, empty breakfast containers, flossers, broken fishing pole, empty fuel can, toilet paper, glove, lighter, glow stick, and on and on and on. Please get a hold of me so I can get them back to you.

Nick

Stuff like this makes me think that maybe public stonings weren’t such a bad thing. Thank you for cleaning up after this cull.

Good job taking all that crap out. You're a hero.

Looks like someone didn’t want to be found but was? Not sure what area this is in but wasn’t there a story of some guy that killed a turkey hunter and was hiding out in the woods?  :dunno:

Here here.  I was honored to be part of one of the many search parties for him.  Not finding the remains and bringing closure to the family is the absolute worst, but at least they caught and put away the murderer.

And no, it was certainly not in the same area as the above photos.  That looks like your run-of-the-mill moron who thinks "the woods" mean you can do whatever you want.  Despicable indeed.

Thanks to the OP for the good work taking care of our public lands.
