Which sled is better Shappell or Otter
« on: September 01, 2021, 08:31:05 PM »
Which sled is better Shappell or Otter for hauling out deer or elk quarters in MT in mid November over dry grass, rocks with some snow. Which is more rugged, thicker, built better? I have pulled a couple of deer, and pulled elk quarters on a kids sled. The kids sled worked great, just want something better.
There are only so many sunrises left.

I have the jet sled and it has done everything I wanted.  I've never used an Otter.

I usually take a game cart and sled and have my bases covered.  The sled fits in the back seat of the crew cab and you can throw your junk in there after the hunt and protect the carpet unless you need the seats.
