Spot for an RV in Desert Unit for early archery tag?
« on: August 25, 2021, 07:29:03 PM »
With the recent closure of WDFW lands for overnight use, our opportunities for camping within the desert unit have become slim to none. Mardon has spots but not on the weekends. We were hoping for a spot that we could park it for the month and hunt the entire early archery season (sept1-30) from the unit.

Anyone have any other ideas of spots we can camp?

Anyone live out there and have a spot we could put the RV and use a generator or more than happy to pay $$$ to use a power hook up.

Thanks!

Used to be a couple sections of BLM ground just to the West.
Haven’t seen specific regulations on BLM ground yet.
Take a look at onX if you haven’t yet.
If you aint hunting, you aint livin'

Just be careful where you park it and don’t leave it unattended for long periods of time. The tweeker are getting bad over there.

Yep, already heard of 4 vehicles stolen from farms this week. Disgusting.

I would be hesitant to park just anywhere with the rampant theft and meth that's around grant county and add that to the fact that LEO's can't and won't do anything could make for a disappointing hunting trip.

Lots of campgrounds in Moses Lake. Lots of road destruction in the Hansen road area, but nice places to camp.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!
