Grandsons Favorite Draw
« on: September 09, 2021, 11:01:51 AM »
Last year my Grandson came over to hunt a bear in August.
Sadly he is unable to make a return trip this year. I hung out a camera a couple of weeks ago to see what kind of mystery guests I had.

https://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,252084.0.html

So I started seeing a potential show up on the 24th, and numerous times until the 6th when I pulled the card. Just haven't checked the new card yet.

I'm guessing that this fella is a keeper.   :chuckle:

It got tired and had to rest in the shade.

And the temperature was around 90+.

I think I would have been sitting in the shade as well. 🤔

Depending on information I get will be whether I am allowed to hunt him. Spent last weekend in a 5 star establishment. Had room service 3 times a day.

Powdered Eggs, Blueberry burritos and Decaf Coffee.  :puke:

Get well soon!

That bear is a nice one!

Gary
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset

Waiting on a appointment for a driving assessment. If I get cleared I think the Yogi will make a trip to the tractor bucket. Or one of his buddies.
