The Wilford Brimley of Huntwa returns  :tung:

How do you like it living down there? More or less freedoms? My brother has a second home in Lake Havasu that I think he would like to make his first home.

I don't think that elk is bugling.

No. It was a 30 year old guys. Took him only 7 years to draw this unit. Some guys it has taken 20 years. This is world class elk hunting here from what the locals say. Plus I'm maybe 3 miles in a beeline to the Apache Rez.

Oh and this bull was a dink.......

Awesome. Glad you’re enjoying it down there. Come back more than once a year.  The mods haven’t banned any long standing members for a while.  :chuckle:

Awesome place. I was there last year this week for my cousin’s tag in 23N. Another buddy drew it this year and is out there now.

Yup. Strong monsoon made for an incredible rut this year. Last year’s hunt was tougher. No monsoon, no water, weak rut.  My cousin shot his bull last year sitting water.  My Buddy with the tag this year got his bull on Sunday, but he had incredible days pretty much every day over the 8 days prior.
