Archery - Lose a Big Nooksack/Skagit Bull ? Its fine!
« on: September 21, 2021, 08:07:01 AM »
Or was until opening day of muzzy! Congrats to hunters who harvested super heavy horned 6x6 by the river and found fresh muzzy/slicktrick type of broadhead in it when pulling  tenderloins.

Nice to know bull didnt go to waste even tho it got away from you.

Congrats to the muzzly hunter.

Every weapon type looses animals every season… it’s not just an archery thing

Muzzy hunters found broadhead in 300”+ bull they got Saturday.  Bow hunter hit it and must feel like &$@! losing bull and thinking it died in the brush.

Hopefully they see this or word gets back to them. That's a really crappy feeling. Congrats to the muzzy hunter, wouldn't mind seeing a picture if anyone has it and permission.

I think a pic of the bull would help greatly to relieve the grief the archery hunter might be feeling!

Hopefully it was someone with a tag during archery season and not someone trying to poach it with a bow.

That was my buddy and I who found the broadhead. My buddy is the one who was able to tag out on that great bull! We were definitely feeling for the guy who must have been sick over losing the bull. For us it was a great hunt and a great bull. He ended up green scoring 335 5/8”

Wow
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
