I would take some good pics of the 3pt.  The local game warden is a good guy and has his ear to the ground everywhere.  It’s likely your buck never leaves private land so if he goes missing and you inform Jason then he could and would try to figure it out.  With pictures or a trail cam you could likely get some special tag points if your able to aid the investigation.

I can get pictures as close as the 2 x 2 as they are both in the yard usually daily, even have video of the 2 sparing in the yard.

I would.  People are pretty sketchy these days and lazy.  If your pet gets smoked on private property it would be a shame.  Those bucks are the guarantee that does will get bred.
