A friend emailed this to me. Love cat hunting
Snag

Game and Fish Biologist:

Yesterday Brian Jansen and I looked for a study mountain
lion whose
collar was emitting a mortality signal. Upon further
investigation we
found our boy, dead behind a dry dam on a private ranch
near LAK
reservoir. He got into a fight with another cat (the
likes of which I
would LOVE to see) and came out the loser. Anyhow,
what is interesting
is that this dude was caught in 2005 as a six year old and
had an
estimated live weight of 175 pounds. He primarily
lived on Elk
Mountain, but moved to the Summit Ridge area just days
after Bobby Sweet
killed a 160 pound cat that was living in the area.
The ground was all tore up, hair was everywhere and blood
was splattered
on the adjacent trees and ground. All of this
cat's claws were full of
lion hair or broke off completely...it must have been a
mountain lion
battle royale. Figured you guys might be interested!

That's a nice cat. Would have been quite a sight, not to mention the sound. Mark

probably got his ass kicked by a group of males 'cause he was wearing that gay collar... :chuckle:
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
