So apparently you need to purchase an 80.00 access permit to do any recreational activities on the Colville res. I would assume that would include the Setons  launch. Anyone have any info on this? I called there recreational department but they only read the same info I found on there site. That's way more than I am going to pay them.

Unless they just changed it, you don’t need it at setons grove

Last I knew you do not need a permit at Seton's Grove. You would at the rough launch near the net pens though.

it’s not a rough launch at the pens anymore, there’s a brand new launch we built that we can’t use until the reservation opens up again.  Unless it did?

Dang, I guess its been a bit since my last visit! I used to prefer the rough launch, caught a lot of fish trolling there to the nets pens.

Yes, the reservation is open, however you will need to purchase a use pass, plus a boat launch pass, plus your fishing license! No permits needed for Seton's Grove only. The link below details the process. Crazy to think WDFW helped build the new launch at the RV park, but you need to spend $200 to use it.

i love that they used our money to put that in and are now charging us!  Another good move by the wdfw.

Thanks, I really didn't want to run from Bridgeport up to the pens when I go, but I would even if it ended up costing more in fuel in the long run before I would pay them that much. 20, 30 bucks, maybe, 80, not a chance. And yes wdfw gave a 2 million dollar grant for that campground/launch.

The new launch is garbage. The back eddie there has the current pulling your boat away from the dock making loading and unloading a pain in the ass.

Was just there over the weekend. Seatons Grove launch is a no fee federal launch. The gravel launch by the net pens has big rocks placed across the launch. The new launch at the net pens is a Colville tribal launch and is $10/day or $80/annual that expires at the end of March. To leave a vehicle overnight, camp or fish from the reservation side you need to purchase a tribal recreation pass that’s $80/annual that expires at the end of March. If you want to purchase the annual passes Nolan’s number is on the pay booth and you call him and he comes down and issues you a pass cash or check.

Well if I were you , I'd get a parking permit and leave it at that , evidently with cheap stabs at your financial backing like that , they have obviously decided they need to build another asylum for the week , the lost , the addicted to loosing atmosphere of a thing they call a casino 🤣 , well they don't build m for winners ya no ! They say free parking !!!!!! Hell that's most expensive parking you will ever do ,, but hey ! You might get a free pop ! And if your lucky enuff to win a few cents , don't forget to get some dinner , some drinks , a room , a desease , and free crap they call breakfast , so anyways , those big fees just for entering are there way of saying ,,,,,oh ! You wanna have fun here !!?? It's cost ya pale face, but believe me , the yearly open parking permit will be the most important thing , and it works at be there court house too !

True, and to think that I pled my case to our regional director at the time to work with the tribe to build a launch on the paved rez side instead of a make-shift type of launch on the Douglas County side down a many mile crappy washboardy dirt , really has me itritated.
